RANT Tattoo: Calf Doll
You have to learn to walk before you can run and that is what this tattoo is, one of my very first attempts at actually tattooing. This is my design, a creature I've used in a drawing or two which gave me some added confidence.
In actual fact, I don't like this tattoo, it is quite primitive and all I can see are my mistakes. Also, this picture was taken immediately after I finished but it has never looked as good since. That brilliant orange hair is barely visible and so too has much of the colour faded. It still is unclear what will become of this tattoo, my husband wants to keep it for sentimental reasons (he's like that), I want to erase it from memory (I'm like that). Time will tell.
