The Beginning of a Sleeve
Every tattooist I know is an artist first and a tattooist second. Thus it is always enjoyable when a tattooist has the ability to create a body sleeve, particularly when they get to choose the art.
I was lucky enough to have a great husband who offered up his body as a blank canvas..."Carte Blanche" he keeps saying. It is an awesome responsibility, a tad stressful at times, but a fantastic opportunity just the same.
This is the near real-time story of the creation of a leg sleeve told from the perspective of the tattoo artist (myself).
