Hi, I'm Sue Laking and I live in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada with my 3 kids and my husband Dave. We have lived in Kitchener for about 11 years now.

I have always love art; for as long as I can remember I have been drawing, painting, sculpting, burning, and more recently needling my way to producing beautiful art (remembering, of course, that beauty is in the eye of the beholder). But, for me at least, good art doesn't come just from a desire to produce it, there is a lot of hard work involved.

I graduated from Fanshawe college in 1990 with a diploma in the Fine Arts program. I have been a professional artist ever since then.

I have always liked to draw elaborate ink drawings that are very dark and emotional. I liked to mix beautiful images with grotesque images. I like the way the two of them play off each other.

I had to put it on a back burner for a little while well I raised my 3 kids. About 6 years ago when my kids were getting a bit older I picked it up again. Now that my children are turning into young adults I chose to start the art of tattooing.

I look forward to the challenges of owning a new business and look forward to drawing on a new canvas.
